Using EBT for Online Grocery Shopping
Several major retailers now accept EBT for online grocery orders. Your benefits cover eligible food items, but delivery and service fees must be paid separately.

|---|---|---|
| Amazon | Yes | Pickup and delivery; Prime not required for EBT orders |
| Walmart | Yes | Pickup free; delivery fee applies |
| Kroger | Yes | Pickup and delivery; availability varies by location |

Important: EBT Does Not Cover Fees
EBT covers food items only. Delivery fees, service fees, tips, and bag fees must be paid with another payment method. Some retailers waive pickup fees — always check before ordering.
How to Use EBT Online
- Add items to your cart at a participating retailer's website or app.
- At checkout, select EBT as a payment method.
- Enter your EBT card number (you'll enter your PIN at pickup/delivery).
- Add a second payment method to cover any fees or ineligible items.
- Complete your order.
